Editor. Photographer. I can't grow a beard. I write a lot of copy for Causes.com.
Sometimes I come across scenes in the city and I shoot before I begin to analyze why I’m drawn to photograph them. Here I saw a gritty wall to the left, crumbling, with chipped paint. A man walked out of a parking lot and a MOBILE sign towered over him. The bight yellow wall to the right is a beautiful opposite to the shadier left and the white TelMex building in the background rounds out the contrast. Yeah. Maybe that’s why I took the photo. And maybe I really just wanted to remember the smell of that corner.
