They’re All Turning 30
Juan Sevilla (lower left), a.k.a Nano, Enanito, Cuco Lechuga, Babe, Babe to the max, turns 30 today. We’ve been friends since the first days of high school. Above, a shot I took around 2001/2002 after one of his band’s sets, Sons Of Them, in Hollywood.
Most of my friends have turned/are turning 30 this year, and I’m no exception. The obvious questions are there for everyone. Am I in a good place? Have I lived up to my potential? Are 30’s really the new 20’s? We have ten years to figure it out.
But for now, Happy Birthday, Nano.
