This cow didn’t like me very much. He was grumpy. But its ok because it was part of us seeing some very poor people being given cows that would in turn produce milk to feed their families. An EU-funded program in Nicaragua provides funding to municipal governments to support local economic development projects designed to foster sustainable growth and food security in these communities - and I am learning all about it. It is one thing to read about these projects on paper from a classroom in the Village, and another to see the smiling faces of those who are directly affected.
